CARE FOR WHAT CARES FOR YOU
PRODUCT CARE
Thoughtful care helps preserve the texture, performance and beauty of every formula. Follow the directions on your product label and use these simple guidelines to keep your Sorella Luminosa and Luminosa Collective products at their best.
A FEW SIMPLE HABITS
CARING FOR YOUR PRODUCTS
STORE WITH CARE
Keep products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat and freezing temperatures. Avoid leaving skincare products in a hot vehicle, on a sunny windowsill or beside a heat source.
KEEP WATER OUT
Avoid introducing water into jars, sticks or solid products unless the directions specifically require water during use. Close lids and caps securely after every application.
USE CLEAN HANDS
Apply jarred products with clean, dry hands or a clean cosmetic spatula. Keep pumps, caps and applicators clean, and avoid touching dispensing openings directly to the skin.
NOTICE ANY CHANGES
Natural ingredients may create slight variations in colour, scent or texture. Stop using a product if you notice an unusual or significant change in its appearance, aroma or consistency, or if the packaging becomes damaged.
MADE TO BE ENJOYED
CARE BY PRODUCT TYPE
FACIAL CLEANSERS
Ensure that your cleanser containers remain tightly sealed and that the dispensing opening is protected from water or contaminants. Only apply the necessary amount as listed on the label. Please prevent direct contact with the eyes and ensure the formula is rinsed off completely.
CREAMS AND MOISTURIZERS
Keep your moisturizers in a cool environment away from the sun. Always use a sanitized spatula or dry hands when extracting product to maintain purity. Close the lid immediately after application and never dilute the cream with water or other liquids.
FACIAL STICKS
Maintain the stick in a dry condition and secure the cap after each use. Only twist up a small portion of the product for application to prevent the stick from breaking under pressure. If any residue builds up around the rim, wipe the container opening gently with a clean tissue.
SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER BARS
It is essential that solid hair care bars dry out fully between washes. Place them on a draining rack rather than leaving them in puddles or sealed wet travel cases. Ensuring the bars stay dry when not in use helps them remain solid and significantly extends their lifespan.
COLD-PROCESS SOAP
Set your artisan soap on a dish that provides proper drainage and airflow. The bar should never sit in stagnant water. For any unopened soaps, store them in a space that is cool, dry, and well-ventilated to preserve their natural quality.
BODY CREAMS
Store body creams with the lid fastened tight in a space free from heat and moisture. Use a clean applicator or dry hands for every use and ensure no water enters the jar to keep the preservatives effective.
THE BEAUTY OF SMALL BATCHES
NATURAL VARIATION IS NORMAL
Our products are thoughtfully made in small batches. Natural ingredients and handmade processes can create gentle variations in colour, aroma, texture or appearance from one batch to another. These subtle differences are part of the character of small-batch care and do not necessarily affect the product’s quality or performance.
BEFORE AND DURING USE
LISTEN TO YOUR SKIN
- Read and follow the directions and cautions shown on the individual product label. Use products only for their intended external purpose. Avoid direct contact with the eyes unless the product label states otherwise. Keep products out of reach of children and pets. If you have sensitive skin, known allergies or are trying a product for the first time, perform a small patch test before wider use. Discontinue use if persistent irritation, redness or discomfort occurs. Do not use a product if its protective seal or packaging appears damaged when received. Follow the period-after-opening symbol, best-before information or other storage instructions shown on the product packaging when provided.
The directions on each product label and product page are specific to that formula and should always take priority over the general care information provided here.
